Cybersecurity Training in Bosnia and Herzegovina

U.S. Department of State is funding a cybersecurity training program for people with disabilities.

The grant opportunity, due October 27th and funded at $250,000 will, “afford individuals with disabilities the opportunity to receive training that would result in a meaningful career” while meeting the shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals. The grantee selected by the U.S. Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina will partner with an implementing organization selected by the Czech Development Agency.

The funding notice calls out four project themes: cybersecurity, workforce development social inclusion and reconciliation. The program’s objectives focus on training BiH citizens with disabilities in the cybersecurity field, providing students with the skills and support needed to attain employment.

The performance period is projected at 24-36 months, including preparation, execution and evaluation, and eligible applications include NGOs, civil society organizations and educational institutions. Read more at grants.gov.
