Data Space For Skills

Closing 29 May, the call seeks to develop and deploy a secure and trusted data space for skills.

Recognizing that data is at the core of skills, education, training and employment, Digital Europe is funding EUR 3 000 000 to build a trusted data space with potential for innovative applications. Databases can provide value for learners, fine-tune education strategies and help define HR, business and employment. The call envisions databases for:

  • Job offers
  • Qualifications
  • Learning Opportunities
  • Curricula and certifications
  • Training inventories
  • Skills classifications

“The awarded proposal will integrate, test and deploy the data space for skills, based on existing technical building blocks and on the concept and design elaborated in the framework of the preparatory action on data space for skills,” says an overview of the call available at Pact For Skills. Anticipated outcomes include technical infrastructure, training documents for stakeholders and a report on the connection between data and EU initiatives on skills and qualifications.
