Digital Europe’s Specialised Education Programmes

Call supports higher education in training digital specialists and increasing capacity of digital skills.

Due 21 November with a total funding amount of up to EUR 55 000 000, the Digital Europe Programme will fund the development of digital educational ecosystems that include higher education and innovative industry partners to attract and retain talent. Proposals will:

  • Build up advanced digital skills in virtual worlds, edge computing, quantum computing, photonics, robotics and automatization.
  • Target the acquisition of advanced green digital skills in agriculture, transport, renewable energy and waste management.
  • Acquire advanced digital skills for government and the public sector.

Anticipated activities include student financial support, upgrading of equipment and tools, consortium partnerships, sustainability strategies and promotion and dissemination of activities paired with performance indicators.
