DOL Community Project Funding

$107 million in Congressionally-directed spending grants available from DOL’s Employment and Training Administration.

The United State Department of Labor is set to award funding for 128 demonstration and pilot projects to applicants specified in Appendix I of Training and Employment Guidance Letter No. 02-24. Only named organizations are eligible to apply. Organizations ranging from union-affiliated training to workforce boards to community colleges appear on the list.

Named organizations must still submit an application that describes their workforce development projects, with the period for applications open now through January 31, 2025. Applications from organizations not listed will not be considered. Applications that will be considered must articulate how the program aligns with the project description approved by Congress.

The Notice of Funding Opportunity includes in-depth award information on fiscal responsibility, funding restrictions, required documents like the SF-424, and the usual UEI and SAM language.
