Erasmus+ Alliances for Education and Enterprises

Alliances will foster innovation in higher education and vocational education in partnership with enterprises.

In December Erasmus+ published a new set of calls including this focus on talent and skill development. Grants range from an initial €1 million to €1.5 million and a period of performance ranging from two to three years, working toward the goal of partnerships that will implement sectoral activities adaptable for future knowledge.

Activities include the development and delivery of sector-wide core curricula and training programs and should include long-term action plans. Funding is provided by the European Commission and  proposals are due March 7th.

A wide variety of organizations are eligible to apply, from education to SMEs to NGOs and labour, among others.

The criteria for award breaks down into four categories: project relevance, project design, partnership quality and impact. Of particular interest are projects that address digital, green and resilient skills, all relevant to current EU policies and initiatives.
