EU-Ukraine Cluster Partnership Programme

Effort to boost business collaboration between the EU and Ukraine closes 4 June.

Integrating Ukraine into the single market is a key EU priority, with funders recognizing the opportunity to boost business collaboration and promote regional economic growth. Grantmakers have identified industrial ecosystems of importance that offer the possibility for growth and collaboration, including:

  • Aerospace & Defence
  • Agri-Food
  • Construction
  • Digital
  • Electronics
  • Health
  • Mobility-Transport-Automotive
  • Renewable Energy

With EUR 3 000 000 available and six projects slated to be funded, successful proposals will address the paired objectives of developing value chain links and fostering cluster capacity-building between EU and Ukrainian companies. Projects will run for 18 or 24 months.

“The Partnerships…will bring together cluster organisations and other business network organisations from the EU Member States…participating in the SME pillar of the Single Market Programme,” in partnership with organizations from Ukraine, says the write-up at the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency.
