FAA Contract Tower Grants Open

$20 million available to address the aging infrastructure of the nation’s airports.

As part of the FY24 Airport Infrastructure Grant funds, the FAA has made available grants to airport sponsors approved in the FAA Contract Tower Program that will  improve airport traffic control towers.

The FAA will consider projects that:

  1. Sustain, construct, repair, improve, rehabilitate, modernize, replace, or relocate non-approach control towers; or
  2. Acquire and install air traffic control, communications, and related equipment to be used in those towers; or
  3. Construct a remote tower certified by the FAA including acquisition and installation of air traffic control, communications, or related equipment.

Grants will align with DOT’s Strategic Framework and are due December 1st.

Do you represent an airport that recognizes the need for an upgraded control tower, but don’t know the federal application process? Do you have an application in process but need an outside reviewer? We at Aspect Works can help. Get in touch below.
