Funding available to promote and enable support for vocational excellence nationally or regionally.
With EUR 4 000 000 available and a due date of 25 May, Erasmus+ will support reforms to foster high-quality skills, career opportunities and innovation. Projects should align with the European Skills Agenda and support “sustainable, inclusive economies and social needs.” Read more at Pact for Skills.
Objectives of the funding call include:
- Removing barriers to internal mobility for work and study purposes, facilitating the recognition of qualifications and learning outcomes
- Developing a highly skilled, qualified and mobile workforce, opening up opportunities for learners, workers and businesses
- Strengthening the quality, relevance and attractiveness of VET by supporting joint developments
A wide range of activities can be supported through this call (though funding will limit how broad any successful approach will be). Whether it’s peer learning or analysis, scaling projects that are working or promotion of vocational excellence or connecting to current CoVE (Centers of Vocational Excellence) projects, projects can cover a wide range of territory.
Anticipated outcomes include projects that, “will foster vocational excellence impact, visibility, promotion, at national, regional, local level through effective framework conditions and activities. They should increase the link between vocational excellence initiatives and national and regional policies. Cooperation among ongoing and completed Erasmus+ Centres of Vocational Excellence projects will also be strengthened.”
