Program Builder and Apprenticeship Building America funding opportunities open October 16th
Earlier this week Career Connect Washington posted a funding update for the rest of 2023. They note that in the 11th round of Program Builder awards and first round of Apprenticeship Building America awards they increased scale to meet demand, and now expect fewer funds to be available the rest of this calendar year.
The final Program Builder funds ($1.5 million total available) of the year, along with Apprenticeship Building America round 2 ($.3.5 million), will open October 16th and close December 1st, 2023. They expect the next Program Builder RFP to open in summer 2024.
“ABA Round 2 will maintain its focus on Registered Apprenticeship and Recognized Pre-apprenticeship expansion, new and high-growth industry sectors, and equitable participation and representation. Program Builder Round 12 will prioritize Career Launch programs, women and BIPOC-led and serving organizations, and program needs identified by our employer partners in our industry sector strategies.” Read more
