Grants

We help organizations with grants, whether it’s assistance with applying, managing, monitoring or evaluating.

Aspect Works Director Jason Petrait has more than a decade of experience writing grants, from large complex federal funding opportunities to corporate and philanthropic grants, along with winning a mix of state and local grants.

Some of our recent work includes:

  • Writing and submitting a winning Career Connect Washington Career Launch grant, $150,000.
  • Providing subject matter expertise as a grant reviewer for the National Science Foundation and the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.
  • Managing WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker programs with multiple contractors and a combined annual budget of more than $4,500,000.
  • Acting as Principal Investigator for a National Science Foundation grant focused on access to careers in aerospace for women and girls.
  • Bringing together community colleges from across Washington State to apply for a United States Department of Labor Strengthening Community Colleges grant.
  • Facilitating Seattle’s Workforce Funders Collaborative, a group of private philanthropic partners aligned around a shared vision of equitable economic and workforce recovery.

Paired with his work in writing grants, Jason brings expertise in monitoring and evaluation, having overseen grants from private foundations, state agencies, and federal agencies including the US Department of Labor and National Science Foundation.

Whether it’s applying for grants, reviewing proposals, managing contracts or streamlining RFP processes, we’re here to help.
