New Erasmus+ Call For Proposals Due 6 February

“Network of networks” will strengthen partnerships at universities across Europe.

Due 6 February with a total funding amount of over 189 million euros, the recent call from Erasmus+ aims to establish a community of practice for European university alliances that will foster collaboration and the sharing of best practices and results.

The call identifies two categories of activities:

  1. Closer cooperation between European universities. Activities could include interactive forums and working groups, discussions on challenges and trends, idea sharing and establishing a knowledge repository.
  2. Promote dissemination of results, including sharing success stories and lessons learned, organizing events and the creation of an information portal.

Outcomes include deeper transnational cooperation, new synergies within universities and improved transferability and uptake of results, all towards achieving a vision of an innovative, globally competitive and attractive European Education Area.

Reading more deeply into the full call document, more concrete activities and goals emerge. The call highlights student and staff mobility opportunities, flexible and innovative curricula, alternative learning pathways and open data practices as work this call could fund.

After February’s submission deadline, grantmakers anticipate a funding announcement at the end of June 2024, with grant agreements set to be put in place by November 2024.

With this large of an opportunity and a narrative of up to 120 pages allowed, a qualified team with a wide range of expertise will be required to submit a consortium grant.
