Strengthening Community Colleges Round 5

$65 million available for training grants to improve access to affordable community college training.

The United States Department of Labor has announced funding for high-quality workforce training to meet demand in industry and build the skill needs of workers in critical sectors like advanced manufacturing, clean energy, semiconductors and biotech. Applications for this round are due September 24th, with 15 awards in total expected ranging from $1.5 million to $5.75 million for consortium applications. 

At least one award is reserved for a Tribal College, and a subset of colleges will be chosen for an evaluation that will include additional time and financial resources.
