Business Excellence for Sustainability and Transparency cooperative agreement applications close February 12th.
With the goal of advancing key elements of phase I and incorporating new, long-term sustainability elements, BEST Phase II intends to:
- Improve capacity of Mongolian institutions
- Improve corporate governance of small and medium-sized enterprises
- Improve energy efficiency and environmental sustainability of SMEs
By working with the Mongolian government and civil society organizations, the project will improve competetiveness to better grow and diversify Mongolia’s economy. USAID plans to issue one award of up to $10 million over five years. The estimated start date is May 1, 2025.
Eligibility is not restricted. For-profits may apply, though profit is not allowable. No cost-sharing is required.
