USAID Employ Cambodia RFI

USAID’s intention is to equip Cambodians with job skills to drive inclusive and sustainable growth.

Due January 19th, USAID’s recent RFI focuses on sectors that will lead to Cambodian economic diversification in the coming years, working with local partners to prepare the workforce of tomorrow. USAID Employ intends to emphasize STEM skills for women and youth in the green economy, digital technology and manufacturing.

Through this RFI, USAID intends to gather insight from local institutions to better understand sector-specific needs and on-the-ground insight that leads to sustainable impact.

USAID expects between $10 and $25 million to be put towards Employ. The full RFI goes into detail on the problem statement, localization, the theory of change, goals and objectives, and geographic focus. The RFI ends with 8 questions for experts to respond to, including queries on growing industries, service gaps, skills gaps, the role of China, the integration of US-based expertise and partnerships.
