A new round of YouthBuild grants is out now, with awards ranging from $700k to $1.5 million and due February 1st. Similar to previous rounds, this funding opportunity expands into additional in-demand industries with a component called Construction Plus.
Grantees will serve youth ages 16 to 24, preparing participants for quality infrastructure jobs while providing wrap-around services including mentoring trauma-informed care, counseling and transportation.

Applications are required to show a 25% match with a source other than federal funds, though there are some waivers for Tribal entities and others.
The period of performance is set at 40 months, including 4 months of planning and 12 months of follow-up.
